The next phase of growth starts here: Louise Scott joins Sowdens

Just over here building the best strategic digital creative
agency in the North,
one brilliant hire at a time.

We’re happy to officially welcome Louise Scott to Sowdens as our new Head of Client Services.

And honestly? This is a big one for us.

Louise joins the agency at a hugely exciting stage of growth as we continue expanding our strategic, creative and digital offering across regional, national and international accounts. It also marks one of the most significant senior appointments we’ve made in recent years as we continue building the team behind some seriously ambitious client work.

With more than 13 years of agency-side experience, Louise brings a huge amount of strategic client leadership expertise with her, having previously worked across integrated marketing, strategic communications and commercially focused campaigns for complex national accounts.

During her career, Louise has led large multi-disciplinary teams, managed combined client budgets exceeding £2 million and worked with organisations including The Crown Estate, Legal & General, Leeds City Council and Hudson Advisors.

In short? She knows how to lead big projects, navigate complex stakeholder environments and keep commercially focused work moving in the right direction, all while building brilliant client relationships simultaneously.

For us, all those matter. A lot.

As we continue to grow across sectors including broadband, healthcare, software, education and green energy, strengthening our senior client leadership team has become a major focus.

Our current clients include organisations such as Quickline, NEC Software Solutions, City Health Care Partnership CIC, Hull York Medical School and Ørsted, alongside a growing number of new strategic projects secured during Q1 2026.

That includes a long-term strategic communications and creative partnership with Kendal College following a competitive tender process, work for Capel Manor College, and the launch of a luxury fragrance brand (just wait until you see this one!).

At the same time, many of our longest-standing client relationships continue to grow too, with partnerships spanning more than 11 years with Hull York Medical Schoolnine years with City Health Care Partnership CIC and seven years with Ørsted. Quickline, our broadband and telco client, will also have been with us 4 years in a few months’ time.

For our owner, Creative Lead and Director Polly, Louise’s appointment as Head of Client Services feels like a huge milestone and reflects both where the agency is now and where it’s heading next.

As we approach our 44th year in business, this is one of the most significant senior appointments we’ve made as an agency,” said Polly.

“We’re operating in a very different space now to where the business was even a few years ago. We’re supporting larger organisations, more ambitious campaigns and increasingly commercially focused growth strategies for clients across multiple sectors.

“Louise brings the strategic client leadership experience needed to support that next stage of growth. She understands how to lead complex accounts, build commercially focused partnerships and align strategy, creative and delivery around clear business objectives.”

Louise will lead Sowdens’ client services function as the Head of Client Services, overseeing strategic delivery, account development and integrated project management across the agency’s growing portfolio.

And after her first few weeks with the team, she’s already firmly in the thick of it.

“What excited me about Sowdens was the opportunity and the trajectory of the agency,” said Louise.

“The business has built an impressive client portfolio across sectors undergoing significant change and investment, and there’s clear momentum behind both the agency and its clients.”

“The opportunity to help shape strategically led work that delivers measurable commercial impact was a huge draw for me. There’s a strong balance between creativity, strategic thinking and ambitious growth plans, which makes it a very exciting time to join the business.”

She also believes the role of agencies is continuing to evolve rapidly.

“Clients increasingly expect agencies to think beyond delivery and operate as strategic partners. That commercial focus and forward-thinking mindset is already very evident across the agency.”

More strategy. More creativity. More ambitious work. More momentum.

Watch this space, we’re just getting started. And it’s safe to say, we’re pretty excited about what comes next!
