Sowdens contract win with Scarborough UTC

Creating an innovative digital marketing strategy to inspire future generations.

UTCs are seeing a surge in popularity with savvy students preparing themselves for the jobs of tomorrow; and with a nationwide STEM skills gap, it’s becoming increasingly important to champion this new way of learning.

Scarborough UTC opened its doors in 2016 and has since catered for many Engineering and Computer Science students. However, 2019 will see the UTC become the only college in the region with a Cybersecurity offering.

All well and good, but SUTC need to capitalise on their offering and inspire students to go down this route of study, and they needed to engage with their audience quickly and effectively in time for their next Open Event.

That’s where we come in. With a history of successful student marketing campaigns, we’re all about that education engagement.

We’ve been working on a range of collateral using digital as the linchpin, and with techy messages along with bitesize content and creative #ProgrammeYourFuture campaign style.

After finishing the February report, the stats are looking great. We’ve managed to increase social media engagement by 110% compared with January with a total of 426 likes. Our PPC display ads generated over 8,000 clicks to the website.

We’re really excited to see more results and with our insightful analysis methods, the client will be able to see ROI every step of the way.
