The APD Control Room Awards honour the life-saving work of control room staff who go above and beyond. APD, who develop critical software and infrastructure for the Emergency Services, created the awards to honour these incredible people.
They required an internal communications strategy that stretched much further than the workplace and marketing support to make this an unforgettable event in the annual calendar.
Now in their third year, the event attracts 400 nominations from over 80 organisations, recognising team members across the globe.
Lead by a digital campaign, we drove momentum through social graphics and online assets. On the evening, over 150 guests came together to experience a night to remember. Bespoke collateral and expert event support ensured the event ran smoothly, with live social media delivering 481 likes, 76 comments and 71 shares on Facebook, as well as a 24.62% Twitter engagement rate – over 20 times the average.
