That’s not all folks…

On Thursday 20 November, The New Adelphi Club, Hull, is set to welcome Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra as they make a return to the Hull music scene with support from Hillbilly Troupe.

The six-piece band, from Newcastle, will be taking to the stage to belt out their tunes, which blend swing, blues, gypsy jazz and country with 20th Century American influences.

Described as ‘retro-cool lads having lots of fun’ by Scotsman On Sunday, the band, fronted by Rob Heron, have released two albums; their debut album ‘Money Isn’t Everything’ and the recently released ‘Talk About The Weather’.

Legendary Hull music venue is celebrating after its #Adelphi30 week saw them raising the roof (literally).

This will be the band’s second time in Hull, having first captivated the crowd at Hull Folk Festival, organised by Sowdens, where they appeared last year.

Polly Sowden said: “We’re pleased to see such a unique act return to the city, and, where better than to have them perform at The New Adelphi Club, which has been a musical culture catalyst for three decades.”

“They’re one of the hardest working bands on the roots circuit and we can’t wait to see the Geordie lads in Hull again.”

The group will be supporting local folk favourites Hillbilly Troupe.

Doors open at 8pm.
