Sirius Academy achieve two national marketing awards at the Euro RSCG Heist Awards

Sirius Academy, with the help of Sowden & Sowden, have achieved much success at the most prestigious UK awards in Education Marketing, the Euro RSCG Heist Awards. On the 26th May at the Queens Hotel, Leeds, Sirius Academy gained two awards for their marketing efforts and was successful in gaining a Highly Commended award for ‘Best Further Education Prospectus’ and a Bronze award for the most sought after award ‘Best Student Recruitment’. These awards position Sirius Academy in the top 3 in the UK in Education Marketing.

The campaign slogan behind the nominations, ‘Where stars are born’ portrayed the brand message and visual to inspire and engage students, parents and carers by captivating their imagination and giving each student the belief that they can ‘Reach for the stars’ with the Sirius Academy.

The Heist Awards have evolved over the past 20 years becoming one of the most reputable awards in the education sector, existing to recognise and celebrate the professionalism and innovation shown from the leaders of Education Marketing.

This accolade is new for the Academy as all the other entrants were either Further or Higher education institutions, the ‘Best Further Education Prospectus’ award won over the likes of Barnfield, Warrington, Preston, Langside and Rochdale College and the ‘Best Student Recruitment’ beat the University of Hertfordshire, East Berkshire College, University of Chester, Glasgow Caledonian University, Teeside University and the University of Aberdeen

Sirius Academy is a forward thinking, dynamic and innovative inner Academy with 1,000 students aged 11-19 years with plans to expand into a new £48.5 million building due to open in September 2011.
