Four weeks to Freedom

With Freedom Festival only four weeks away (four weeks?!) we’re all getting extremely giddy here at Parkgate Studios.

The last couple of months have been incredible for putting Hull’s cultural offering firmly on the map. The stunning Places des Anges gave us a flavour of what’s to come in 2017, then us Hull folk showed the world what we’re made of when over 3000 people got their kit off and posed as a sea of smurfs for Spencer Tunick’s Sea of Hull installation. All in the name of art. Media analysis revealed that the project generated £5.5m worth in news coverage and reached a worldwide audience of 720 million.

Incredible. Our own analysis of the Freedom Festival programme launch revealed a fantastic digital reach, with an average organic post reach of 7.5k and over 40k views of our teaser film. This year’s line up is packed with a diverse programme of dance, theatre, music, circus acts, spectaculars and much much more, we can’t wait.

Prepare to be amazed | Hull | 2-4 September 2016

See you there.
